Welcome New Ethnos Faculty Members

Ethnos College gladly welcomes Dr. Jason Garwood, Alison Legall, and Rose Perry to the Ethnos College Faculty family.

Dr. Jason Garwood

Dr. Garwood will be teaching the “Single Christian” course this summer. Rev. Jason Garwood (BS, MDiv, ThD) is a passionate advocate for applying the Biblical worldview to every area of life. For 20 years, he has devoted himself to understanding Scripture deeply and teaching others to live under the lordship of King Jesus. His ministry is driven by a desire to glorify Christ by equipping Christians to identify and confront cultural idols through faithful obedience to the Great Commission.

Dr. Garwood has authored several impactful books, including Reconstructing the Heart, which bridges theology and practical living, Have Yourself an Eschatological Christmas, and the Amazon best-seller Health for All of Life, which addresses Biblical principles for health and wellness.

As minister of Word and sacrament at Cross & Crown Church in Warrenton, Virginia, he leads a community rooted in Reformed theology and committed to cultural engagement. He is also the Founder and President of the Virginia Center for Public Theology, a ministry committed to defending Christian ethics in the town square.

Jason and his wife Mary are raising their three children to know, love, and serve Christ, embodying the faith and mission that drives his life and ministry.

Alison Legall

A strategic communications and learning strategist with over 17 years of experience, I hold a Master of Arts in Communications Management and am pursuing a Doctor of Education, blending academic rigor with practical expertise. I have distinguished myself throughout my career by leading complex projects, creating award-winning content, and delivering impactful messages across diverse channels. With core competencies in project management, writing, and stakeholder engagement, I leverage my teaching experience and communications background to craft compelling narratives that resonate with audiences and align with organizational goals.

Rose Perry

First and foremost,  I am a Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ,  and have accepted Him as my personal savior.  I believe in God Almighty who is eternally existent in three persons: God the Father,  God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. I believe in the baptism and indwelling of the Holy Ghost.

I am the “one wife” of my husband, EuGene, for 53 years.  Together we have three children, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. My husband (‘Pop’, as he’s affectionately known) is retired from both the Air Force and the Army branches of the Military, and I am a retired Finance Accountant, now serving as needed in my local church. I am also a Student Advisor and part-time instructor at True Vine Theological Seminary, and previously Family Bible College of Fayetteville.

One interesting thing about me is that I’ve lived in Alaska for almost 25 years right before moving to North Carolina twenty years ago.

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who finds joy in learning and growing. I love connecting with new people, exploring creative ideas, and embracing new challenges. With backgrounds in Accounting, Gospel Choral Music Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Biblical Counseling, and Biblical Exposition, I bring positivity and commitment to everything I do. I am excited to share my experiences, and to continue to grow spiritually, personally, and professionally.
